The Chautauqua County Paranormal Group is a non-profit group dedicated to collecting and analyzing scientific data of paranormal events and places.
We are located in Chautauqua County, N.Y.

While The Chautauqua County Paranormal Group recognizes the autonomy of individual beliefs, we approach our investigations from a scientific perspective. We do not utilize the services of Mediums, Spiritualists, or Sensitives in our investigations. Our group does not advocate or participate in the use of occult sciences such as Ouija Board, Table Tipping, Chanting, Seance, or Relic implementation during investigations.

Simply put, Chautauqua County Paranormal Group approaches investigations of suspected activity from a scientific perspective utilizing computers, cameras, audio recorders, various sensors and other equipment in an attempt to capture any anomalous activity. During an investigation, investigators seek to find natural or “non-paranormal” answers to reported activity (ie strange noises or apparitions, etc). After the investigation is concluded, investigators analyze the obtained data. When normal explanations can not be found for captured data, it can be labeled as paranormal. We believe that 75 – 80% of suspected paranormal activity can be explained as natural or non-paranormal.  Our members have backrounds in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural design & more.

If evidence suggests paranormal activity is occurring in your home or business, CCPG will work with you in finding solutions to best suit your situation. In some cases, follow up investigations may be required.

CCPG has a strict privacy policy that protects clients from having their names or locations released without their written consent. We will never disclose a client's name or location, without consent, to anybody outside of C.C.P.G. on our website or to a third party.

Our service is provided free of charge.  Our mission is to collect data of the paranormal for further study and the possible understanding of anomalous or paranormal events & activity.
